I’m Meagan

I founded Maine Seasons Events, a woman owned full-service wedding planning, design, and event management firm in New England. Over the last 27 years of successfully planning, designing, and orchestrating over 675 weddings of varied sizes, scopes and budgets, I’ve developed a unique and efficient event planning and design system that maximizes time and resources, delivers a thorough and calm planning process, while ensuring a customized and personal client experience.

With decades of expertise in planning and designing weddings and entrepreneurial experience, I created The Expertise Collective, an educational resource for wedding planners and wedding business owners to increase their knowledge and elevate their services while implementing efficient business systems. It is important to me to share the valuable lessons and systems it took me decades to learn, so that other wedding professionals can close the gap on where they are and where they want to be, in a fraction of the time, avoiding uncertainty and frustration. The Expertise Collective also provides professional digital planning resources for couples planning their own weddings who want the guidance of a virtual (but real human!) professional wedding planner.

Personally, I am passionate about equality and opportunity for all people, animal welfare, home schooling, art, interior and garden design and environmental consciousness. I split my time between mid coast Maine and the northeast coast of Florida with my high school sweetheart husband and creative and spirited child. I am happiest when helping others, designing magical experiences for kind hearted people, being surrounded by trees and gardens, out in nature, and doing home renovation and design projects. You can often find me gardening, hiking, bird watching, baking, cooking, camping, paddle boarding, alpine skiing, reading, writing, teaching, traveling and having adventures.
